Help please,

I tried the ECO sample that I ordered and loved the ease of
application, my problem is that the tips after curing were thinker and
then if hit would peal or break. I was able to get it to last 1 week
without using a primer. It also would just peal right off and also did
the same thing over acrylic after a few days. Here are the steps I
used:

buffed nail/ac with 240 file and white block buffer
brushed off dust
cleaned nails with scrubfresh
applied base
applied 2 coats gel
applied uv top coat

I was sure to cap edges

The first time I tried it on my natural nails I used a 9watt lamp and
seemed to cure and last 1 week

The second tome I put it over acrylic and used a 36 watt lamp and it
lasted less than a week

Ruth, The first thing is you do not need to cap the edge with eco So Quick. We have found it actually can promote lifting and peeling. The issue of the pooling - thicker - on the free edge is you are applying it too thickly. I have found that techs who have mastered the art of hard gel application have some trouble moving to a UV Gel Polish application. The issue is you have to think "polish" not "gel" when applying UVGP.

The product does require a 36w (4 9wbulb) lamp for curing.

Try this:
eco base: pick up a small amount of base and dab it on 3-5 nails. Now go back and spread it cuticle to free edge, scrubbing it in, finish by wiping cuticle to free edge almost as if you are wiping it off. That is how thin you need to apply the base. Cure 30 seconds. Color layers are thin, and the first layer might appear streaky, the 2nd layer should cover fine, some desire a 3rd layer of color for deeper color. Cure each color layer for 2 minutes. You can finish up with either eco Clear, Diamond, or Snow, cure 2 minutes, then remove the dispersion layer -- or -- you can remove the dispersion layer and apply Eco Polish Sealer. The eco Polish Sealer helps prevent absorption of color during day to day activities which would be absorbed into the UVGP which is porous (hence the ability to be soakable). Polish Sealer means you don't have to cure each hand 2 minutes, and it does dry in 6 seconds, so it saves you time. You can also retail eco Polish Sealer for "shine boots" in between appointments.

What was on your nails before you tried the eco? Nails being transitioned from other enhancement services will absolutely experience issues, peeling, chipping, breakage, cracks for 4-8 weeks or more. Part of the reasoning there is because they have to relearn how to behave with natural nails as opposed to with enhancements. Once they get past that part everything is fine. Keep in mind not every client is a candidate for this type of service, it really falls back on you to make that determination with a solid consultation (I assume you had a talk with yourself before applying?? hehehee).
