The owner of the salon was approached by a local promotional/deal of the day and wanted us all to do it. We all sat back and let her do it then we said we'd decide from there.
I tell you what... it only took one Saturday for us to decide we didn't want anything to do with it. She is still giving away services and it's been well over a month. She stopped taking people on Saturdays because she had booked a solid free Saturday. And they were all young girls. None of these people will come back because they're on to the next groupon/deal of the day/promo pak to get their discount services. She started passing on the discount deals to her assistant. She said she'd never do it again. If she only retained 5 out of 75 discount deals I think I can hussle my butt to find 5 people to sit in my chair.
