But let me tell ya, the structure is really working for me: A set schedule. Front desk staff greets clients and takes payment. Call center staff books appointments. Dispensary staff washes towels (!!). I do nails... it is like a finely tuned machine is that completely customer service oriented. (Holly Cliffe, you had said you had wondered what I was up to... now you know why... LOL). I have a lot of experience in a lot of things as an independent nail tech... like products and techniques that the average nail tech in a corporate salon will never try, but I am in "Advanced Training" (14 years experience and I'm back in "school"!) and have still learned a ton. I am a much better nail tech than I was 2 weeks ago, and I thought I was pretty decent before. You CAN teach an old dog new tricks!!! :) > So... the days of renting and owning are over for me. I will happily take my place in the full service spa world until I move into the corporate side of the nail business somewhere. All I would say folks is... keep your eyes and mind open.
