You do want to use 99% alcohol to do the drips also be sure not to dust off too
much excess and to make very tiny drips

I don't remember what the brand is, just that they are pigments. The ones I got
were at Michael's in the section where the paper crafts were with the embossing
powders and things like that. I've had mine for a couple of years though so
Michael's may not have them any more.
Are you using 99% alcohol? Anything less has some oil in it and that could be
part of your problem.

Are they called pigments? I have tried using minerals but they aren't acting
the same as how it looks like true pigments behave... I can't drop alcohol over
them how Holly has demonstrated, and create the droplets ... The technique just
doesn't work with minerals... I'm looking for something to play and practice
with that wont break the bank...

No, they are not powdered paints. If you were to try and mix them with water
they wouldn't reconstitute into paint.
I have purchased at Michael's the exact same pigments that CND is selling. I
found them in the section where the stamping and embossing supplies ate. They
came in a package of 12 and there were 2 different sets, one metallic/pearl and
the other matte. If I remember correctly they were about $22 each. I've used
them to make colored acrylic, gel, as eyeshadow, in lipgloss, and as CND
suggests.

Hi everyone, Is pigments that we can use on nails just dry paint? I was at
Hobby Lobby today and seen powdered paint and also watercolor paints that
looked dry.
