Deb, I have been having the same problem lately. Putting on too much product makes sense. I am also thinking it could be my bulbs. Clients are always hitting their nails on them and I will turn them around but it keeps happening. I have been using the CND lamp and I start noticing problems when the bulbs are used around 50 hours which they say they are good for 100 hours. What lamp are you using and how old are the bulbs? When I use to do acrylic I had this same problem only on certain people. Nails that had big arches in them, humped nails that curled down like claws or if I used the acrylic too wet. I just bought a LE lamp to see if this will help. I can afford to replace the bulbs on this lamp more often.
