I sell retail also, but keep my inventory small for now. I did not try to get big quick I am growing slowly. I do my own books and have learned a lot. This year is much easier, add up what I take in (my income) and subtract my expenses keep expense receipts and utilities. I keep it simple cash or check, no credit cards or debit cards. Also, I feel my clients like to be educated about products and like that they can ask me questions about their nails. Keep your conversations with clients light and fun and them talking, if they are having fun and like their nails they will keep coming back and they will tell others. Hope this wasn't too long! My first one I didn't know very well and was screwed over. But God always sorts that stuff out . So with that said someone who isn't a financial partner but can be your go to person.
