If you want to add strength, then yes you need to create a structural nail. It
doesn’t really matter so much if you use soak off or hard gel….to prevent
bending back and forth and breaking, build it right.

Best of luck!

Subject: NailTech:: natural nail overlay question

If I want to do a gel over a natural nail, no added length, do I do a flat
layer, like nail polish, or do I still build an apex? Do I use a soft gel or a
hard? Whenever I try it on my jacked up nails, I always get cracking and
lifting.

Thanks!

Best,
