Thanks for bringing these up. There are a lot of things that have died
on the side of the road that we need to bring back up. Sometime bigger
issues come up, and sometimes we have to go to dinner and forget. :)

I assume you are talking about filename/dir resolution related to case
sensitivity. I remember the discussion ending with the call that it
should be left up to the underlying FileSystem/OS. I don't think anyone
implemented those changes.

If you have made these changes, please send them along. ;)

BTW. The Win32 subsystem is not case-sensitive. But NTFS is
case-preserving, while FAT is not. The Posix subsystem on NT is
case-sensitive, and preserving.

The config stuff never got out of planning, as far as I know. I remember
wanting to do it, but I really never found enough of a use case to
warrant it.
