I agree that was ideal solution, but as far as I know
it can't be determined in a platform-independent way.
We could P/Invoke to get the info, but I wasn't sure
that if that was cool to do, since it won't work for
the Mono guys. 

Another option would be to have a global app.config
setting for case-sensitivity. Or, we could just assume
that if we can't do the P/Invoke, we're on Unix, and
so assume case-sensitive. I'm not sure what kind of
exception Mono would throw in that case -
NotSupportedException maybe? 

As for the config stuff, I was thinking it might be
useful for things like paths to compilers. It would be
nice if those things didn't have to be in the search
path to run. Not a top priority, of course, just a
nice-to-have.
