That's also the best way to make IPv6 as broken as IPv4 is today.  I understand 
the value of mindshare in fostering deployment, but trying to make IPv6 as much 
like IPv4 as possible strikes me as at best, a waste of energy; and at worst, a 
good way to ensure that the net continues its trend of making it harder and 
harder to field new applications.
