Hi Liz,

I have gpsdrive working with gpsd, and navit shows the correct Latitude 
and longitude in the 'Actions' menu (underneath the Globe Icon and the 
Car Icon. I killed gpsd and the Lat/Lon  changed to 0,0 (which is 
expected) and returning the NMEA strings  changed back to my current 
location.

I deleted all the rest and re-centred based on your suggestion ... but 
nothing shows in the window.
