Matt,

My experience has been that we were pretty much open and honest all the non
compliance issues up front with our customers and a schedule of when these
issues will be fixed at our cost.

Basically, tell them when you are going to fix it (in reasonable time frame)
and give them regular status to show you are making progress.

Once any RBOC bought your equipment they don't change out that fast. It
takes 6-12mos for them to evaluate your products before they decide to buy
it. It is very costly for them (installation, training) to change. However,
they may not purchase any more of your equipment in the future.

Pay close attention to the R's in the GR specs and try to meet the O's as
many as possible.

Has anyone ever seen or experienced a product sold to a RBOC that never
passed all the GR-63 requirements?  If so, what are the exceptions and why.
