Matt, My experience has been that we were pretty much open and honest all the non compliance issues up front with our customers and a schedule of when these issues will be fixed at our cost.
Basically, tell them when you are going to fix it (in reasonable time frame) and give them regular status to show you are making progress. Once any RBOC bought your equipment they don't change out that fast. It takes 6-12mos for them to evaluate your products before they decide to buy it. It is very costly for them (installation, training) to change. However, they may not purchase any more of your equipment in the future. Pay close attention to the R's in the GR specs and try to meet the O's as many as possible. Good luck, Tony Phan -----Original Message----- From: Matt Kilkenny [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, August 29, 2001 4:47 PM To: '[email protected]' Subject: RE: NEBS & RBOCs Has anyone ever seen or experienced a product sold to a RBOC that never passed all the GR-63 requirements? If so, what are the exceptions and why. Thanks in advance. Matt Kilkenny [email protected]
