Hello NEISA, I was asked to keep score of the sreies events back in December. I have decided that the best way to do it is a high-point system. For example, if you finish 1st out of ten teams, you recieve ten points for that event. This should reward both participation at multiple events as well as doing well at the more competitive events. Ties will first be broken by number of events participated in, second by head to head competition, third by best ever result, and fourth by most recent result. When a team has more than one entrant, only its highest finishing entrant will count in the scoring. However, the other entrants from that team will still be included in the quantity of teams sailing the event. Standings will be emailed out regularly and include the points accumulated by each team at that time. I hope this all works well, and I look forward to helping out NEISA in this capacity.
