This past weekend's results presented the need for yet another scoring rule. In the event of combined divisions, the score will represent the team's combined score. For examle, if an individual boat wins a 20 boat combined division, they do not earn their team 20 points. If their team had the lowest combined score, they will recieve 10 points, or however many two-boat teams were sailing the regatta.
Participation has been great thus far. The Central Series has had 25 teams earn points. Both the Central and Southern are tight leading into the end of the season. The Central will be decided at the final event this weekend. The Southern has two events left. And due to the Northern getting no races in last week, the whole series is up for grabs at the Mascoma Invite May 1! Good luck to all the sailors. GO NEISA!
