Actually ... :-) Really, of course you are appreciated. True, people don't necessarily explicitly mention their appreciation, but it's there. The fact they find it valuable to engage in a dialog with you is a good hint. Also. many times non-responsiveness means agreement, and there are the large masses (no pun intended :-) that passively witness the discussions here and learn from the various ideas to which they are exposed. So, you should feel quite good about the impact your footprint is making in the growing XP community.
