Thanx for ur reply steve.
this is quite helpfor for me. but when i host the page i got the following
errors
but this is working fine when i run in my local system, but not in live
server.
Server Error in '/NewEproc' Application.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----
Runtime Error
Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom
error settings for this application prevent the details of the application
error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however,
be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.
Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable
on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config"
configuration file located in the root directory of the current web
application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute
set to "Off".
<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->
<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="Off"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>
Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom
error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's
<customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.
<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->
<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>
Can u help me out in this problem.
Thanx & Regards,
J. Mohanraj

Subject: Re: [C#.NET] How to do deployment - Urgent.
Here are some steps that you can follow:
1. Right click on my computer and select "Manage"
2. Expand the "Services and Applications" node of the tree.
3. Expand the "Internet Information Services" node of the tree
4. Expand the "Web Sites" node of the tree
5. Right click on the "Default Web Site" node and go to new->virtual
directory.
Then after you make the virtual folder you can go to the
propertiesofit and there will be an ASP.NET tab where you can adjust
settings.
Hope this helps.
