Layline  has inadvertently tested their rigging on a Catamaran called "Bad
Kitty"
Bad Kitty was entered in the Newport Ensenada last year and she was sailing
on a reach when their Brand new cap shrouds let go. After the race they
splices were examined and found to have failed.
Bad Kitty is currently in negotiations to resolve the costs associated with
thier mast breaking. as a result of the cap shrouds letting go. The
interesting thing was a very light "Amsteel Grey" runner either 3/16" or
1/4" held the mast up till the mast collapsed in compression.

Layline (www.layline.com) might be interested in doing this. They build
the synthetic rigging systems around the Precourt deadeyes and have
advertised that they have a system to test the strength of various
lines and fittings. It seems to be basically a large I beam with
hydraulics and load cells.

Maybe since they sell the systems, they would be interested in testing
an old set.
