Diamond system gets rid of baby stay, which makes tacking easier and
saves sail abuse...well worth the security of stronger/more stable rig
along with easier sail handling. Upper cap shrouds add  some stability
to uppermost four feet of mast....also recommended. Under net wires are
recommended if you are going to load up the cap shrouds. Compression
post for aft cabin also recommended. It's a progressive project....each
requires other changes to make each step work best/safely. Given that
you can do it all for less than $1,500...it's a worthwhile investment
considering abuse of jib with babystay and having a bulletproof rig
(how much is a fractured rig?).

And it's fast!
