Maybe not. A few years ago I was setting up a minimill, with drivers
that change between full, half, 5, or 10 microsteps (Flashcut 3.5
amp). I changed the drivers from 5 microstep setting which had
worked flawlessly, to half step, and immediately lost steps on parts
due to resonance.

If any of your parts will have arcs, the machine will go through
the "bad" spots of resonance no matter what feedrate it's run at,
with possible lost position.
