You poor thing, once you cool down, there actually is a little humor in what happen! But don't bring her again. Why don't you up some of your calories too, maybe eat a little more fattening food just for a week or two and drink a lot of water. Is Penelope pretty active? What percentile is she? I can't believe how short my memory is, the girls just weigh 23lbs with their cloths on, they turned 17 months, but I don't remember what they were at 6 months. How much did she weigh at birth? (although my 9lb 10 oz son, now at 8 barely 50 lbs, I think was only about 18 lbs from 9 lbs until around 13 months, very healthy kid though) That is what is the most important, how healthy the dr. says she is and if she is meeting milestones. You could mix your milk in cereal. Does she want to eat? Almost 13 lbs at 6 months does not seem too far off though, what do they say, double their weight by 6 months? I can't remember that either. oh boy. Sorry you had a stressful experience, and when she is big you will be able to laugh about it together, I promise!! My older children get tired of some of their baby stories! ml
