Bman, here's a situation that may arise, and I ask for your insight-

1. You get your boat island thing together. You're out in
international waters, all of you have done away with your national
citizenships. A couple of guys that own one of the boats near the
center of the "island" decide to get sick and start molesting little
kids. What are you gonna do?
Me: I'd say cap'em both, keep whatever it is they have that you can
use and toss the rest overboard with their bodies.

2. You get a large ship instead, and do the no government gig there.
Same crap happens- kiddie mo bangs a few boys. Whatcha gonna do?
Me: I'm a firm supporter of keel hauling.

In either of these two cases you will need to have some form of
government to manage what happens. And as I have seen first hand,
kids can and will say things that aren't true. A man I had a great
deal of respect for (he was an assistant scoutmaster for my BSA troop
when I was a kid) was convicted of molesting his daughters. He lost
everything. Spent several years in prison, and couldn't hold a job.
Last I knew he was homeless. Funny thing is that only one of the
girls said that he did that, and she recanted a few years later. She
was angry at him over something menial. Well, they apologized and
exonerated him for it. But he still did prison, still lost
everything, and still had a public reputation of being a kiddie mo. I
have no idea where he's at now, and I wish I did.

So what if your "island" gig had such a problem? Either way you have
to do something about it. And if you do what is right, you have
become a governing authority. If you do what is wrong, you have
become what you left this country over.

The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere,
someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over
there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done...."
