I would just like to emphasize a point about the standing rigging.
All of the gel-coated stuff and the folding mechanism should last a very
long time. If all of the penetrations are sealed from water intrusion, the
big killer is UV. A boat that sits out in the sun all of the time in
southern latitudes, for example, will show gelcoat chalking in just two
years. But this is cosmetic and can be polished back.
I think that the most insidious and potentially dangerous aging issue is the
standing rigging. Although very long-lived, stainless steel shrouds and
turnbuckles can fatigue with age and salt exposure without any obvious signs
and then fail in a somewhat catastrophic way (mast falls down on a windy
day). All the other things that wear out - nets, engine, sails, etc. tend to
show their age and are less associated with catastrophic failure.
So you may want to consider a prophylactic replacement of standing rigging
at some point.
If taken care of, your boat should hold its value quite well. But you should
budget for a couple-few thousand $ per year to maintain your investment.
