We had a Mk I for 3 years and had a problem with boat flex because it was
not built to Ian's spec. in the first place.  Check the tabbing between
*all* transverse bulkheads and the hull. That includes between the v-berth
sides and the hull, and also the bulkhead under the cockpit.  All of ours
needed re-glassing and it was not fun.

Apart from that, we also had to repair the rudder pivot hole as David
mentions but our rudder (and possibly the pivot hole) were not stock.  I
don't know when your may need repair.

And I second the recommendation to read Sigi's buyers guide, particularly
points 8 and 9.
