Hi. I see that some talk about CRT viewfinders have been going on here before..
http://www.neonixie.com/neonixie-list-archive/5784.html I need a schematic for a viewfinder, just a general one. I have a viewfinder from a seventies video camera i purchased at a flea market, the camera is gutted, and i am left with the VF, and seperate unit, running on 12 volts and takes composite video. It's an JVC unit like this: http://buy.id.ebay.com/buying/id/display/250707923511_JVC-Camera-Electronic-Viewfinder-CVF503-NEW I have stripped out almost all electroncs now, and i am driving the EHT transformer with a BD139 and a 555 osc. Works jut fine :-) I just wanted to draw up an schematic, but i don't know what sits inside a big white potted "box" - presumably some kind of high voltage tripler circuit. I have about 1000 VAC going into it and around 5 KV on the EHT suction cup. Anyone have a general schematic for one of these 1,5 - 2" CRT Viewfinders and would like to share ? The VF is based around an AN294 IC (removed completely now) Some pictures of the beast: http://gallery.zapro.dk/index.php?album=Technical+(Teknik)/Viewfinder I have a newer VF too, it's an IKEGAMI, i could probably get schematics for it, but it's a completely different construction with seperate EHT coil, and it's high line frequency too (higher than 15,625 KHz) // Per. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "neonixie-l" group.
