The thing is, if I turn the DP resistor down enough that it looks equal to the digits, it A)looks WAY too bright with the digit off, and B)actually dims the digit when it turns on. I saw a youtube video recently where the guy managed to actually make the DP look right without dimming the whole tube, but I forgot to bookmark it. I figured he must be doing something differently.
