I would encourage you to investigate using the Eagle Library Editor - its actually not very difficult - personally, I NEVER trust third-part libraries as often they are incomplete (miss layers etc.) or are simply wrong in some way (stuff on wrong layers, wrong naming formats, badly structured, wrong dimensions etc. etc.).
Have a play with it - use a vernier calliper or similar whilst doing this to check the ACTUAL dimensions of what you are trying to make a board footprint for.
