One thing I needed to do with Sockulator was work from a known pin
circle diameter rather than all that measuring pin widths palaver. It
also makes it more versatile for laying out pins on a circle for
devices other than nixie tubes.
I hacked the code for the Mac version to work from a known diameter,
but I think if you are going to revisit that code it might be
something you could consider putting in maybe?
The other thing I did was take the pin limit off so I could work with
the 60 pins necessary for a clock face.
It's a great little utility. I have used it for both nixie tube
designs and the Wurlitzer jukebox valve/toob amp boards I produced
recently.
