Thanks Nick. That has helped with me creating a new IV-17 tube component from scratch.
Now, I am trying to create a new component in the Supertex library for the HV5812, which is a wide bodied 28 pin dil package. I've opened the Supertex library, selected 'New' and can't seem to bring in the DIL outline from the 'IC-package' library, to pick up the wide 28-pin device for use as a starting point. Maybe I should try copying the device from that library into the Supertex library ?
