I did. On the machine it seem cause more problems that solved.
For whatever reason; the pullup cause one of the digits to glow constantly 
and very brightly... not just on the nixie display; but on all of them.

Also; keep in mind the MPU board has a 1.2k series resistor on the digit 
enable lines; so unsure how that'd work properly.
