Oh, hadn't seen that one, I like it.  I had been looking at the TSC428/MAX628 
that Konstantin uses, but it doesn't have the built-in oscillator (I'd just 
drive it with a microcontroller pin).  They're both available in DIP packages 
for breadboarding, but you're right, the FAN7387 is about half the price of the 
MAX628.
