Based on prior experience (and I think we discussed this earlier in the 
NixieBase thread) we should use our own site for this. Group hosts simply can't 
be trusted. 

All files should be free and clear if for no other reason than that 
password-protected, "secure" pdf files are NOT secure. There are apps that can 
decrypt them. I'm thinking in particular of Dieter Waechter's documents at 
http://www.tube-tester.com.

I'll certainly take all I can get but when I think about such a project my eyes 
start to glaze over. What I need is encouragement.

I have been thinking a lot about the NixieBase project but that's a topic for a 
new thread.
