60V on the indicator bulb (NL1) indicates the transformer is being driven, but you cant tell if the HV is high enough; can you measure VCC_300 to see if it's in the ballpark ?
Can you scope-out pins 1 & 2 of the transformer to see what kind of waveform is present for the filament supply ? I'm going to start building mine tonight now that I have enough info (thanks John !).
