I haven't been following the thread, so I'm probably way off topic, but can confirm HD's statement below (regarding the filtering of TCP and UDP). In addition, AT&T also filters 80 inbound (since codered/nimda). There is a work-around on these networks (as I do my scanning from these networks) if you use port 445 for netbios....
Is anyone working on patching all the Netbios checks to attempt to use 445? Time Warner / Road Runner filters about every TCP and UDP port between 136 and 139 outbound as well as inbound. Most dialup ISP's don't filter traffic though. - [EMAIL PROTECTED]: general discussions about Nessus. * To unsubscribe, send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe nessus" in the body. - [EMAIL PROTECTED]: general discussions about Nessus. * To unsubscribe, send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe nessus" in the body.
