I haven't been following the thread, so I'm probably way off topic, but can
confirm HD's statement below (regarding the filtering of TCP and UDP).  In
addition, AT&T also filters 80 inbound (since codered/nimda).  There is a
work-around on these networks (as I do my scanning from these networks) if
you use port 445 for netbios....

Is anyone working on patching all the Netbios checks to attempt to use 445?

Time Warner / Road Runner filters about every TCP and UDP port between 136
and 139 outbound as well as inbound. Most dialup ISP's don't filter
traffic though.
