Is there a way to restore a session without waiting for the GUI to pretend that it is conducting a scan? I've tried using the command line to restore a scan:

nessus -T xml -R 20021220-102622 -q 127.0.0.1 1241 username password 20021220-102622.xml

But that ends prematurely with:

"Communication closed by server
nessus: nessusd abruptly shut the communication down - the test may be incomplete"

I'm trying to restore some sessions I saved months ago when I was using Nessus 1.x, with Nessus 2.x which is the version I use now. I want to export all those old results to the new XML format, for import into a database.

I don't understand why the GUI wants to pretend it is conducting a scan when I restore a session. How do I get it to stop doing that and just get to the results, so I can save them as XML? What's the deal?
