Shouldn't all the rules prior to Dec. 7th be GPL? I
was going off Renaud's posting in 2001 where he stated
all plugins are GPL. Without informing anyone of the
change of license until Dec. 7th, it appears
everything before that date should be GPL? Am I wrong
on this point?
Also, is tenable's goal here to put others exploiting
nessus out of business or to collect licensing fees or
some variant thereof?
I know there are lots of companies distributing
products that include nessus in some fashion - are
they enemies? are you going to sell royalty free
licenses?
