OK - that problem should now be fixed, and CVS main should be working again. Also, the UCD memory group should be active (using the memory HAL interface) on FreeBSD, NetBSD and OpenBSD, as well as Linux. I haven't had a chance to try this on other systems (Solaris, HP-UX, OS X, etc), so there may well still be problems on those architectures.
