I've been under the impression that the ChangeLog in each branch would
only cover the changes in that particular branch and *not* try to also
cover the changes in other branches. I.e. the ChangeLog in MAIN would
*not* cover changes in V5-x-patches. What's the reason to do it
differently? At least we'd get a somewhat linear ChangeLog with the
this-branch-only approach, AFAICS.
