Yes - there's a lot of good stuff there.

I hope you don't mind, but I've just gone through the first part of this,
expanding the introduction a bit, and restructuring things slightly.

I haven't touched your main example much (other than splitting some
of the longer lines so that they'll print properly rather than shooting off
the edge of the paper!)

I have some concerns about a few of the techniques that you are
using here, but felt that I ought to provide some useful content of
my own before setting out for battle!   Have a look at my changes,
and let me know what you think.
