The new UDPv6/TCPv6 transport tests (62, 63) in SVN trunk (5.5.rc1) fail for me
on older RedHat machines, namely:

  Redhat Linux 7.1 (kernel 2.4.20)
  Redhat Linux 9 (2.4.20)
  RHEL 2.1/x86 (2.4.9)
  RHEL 3/x86 (2.4.21)
  RHEL 3/amd64 (2.4.21)

Looking into the /tmp/snmp-test-* files, I see snmpd complaining:

  Error opening specified endpoint "udp6:[::1]:8776"

and snmpget saying:

  snmpget: Unknown host (udp6:[::1]:8776) (Address family not supported by
protocol)

According to configure-summary, TCPIPv6 and UDPIPv6 transports are configured
and net-snmp-config.h defines NETSNMP_TRANSPORT_UDPIPV6_DOMAIN as expected.

Can anyone reproduce and/or provide suggestions?

On a different note, shouldn't we just use/extend the existing

  make test TESTOPTS="-P xxx"

option to run the whole test suite with a different transport? I already use it
for TCP all day.
