I'm cross-compiling the net-snmp agent on a MIPS platform. Running the snmpd
agent I get this,
>snmpd
error : SIGSEGV
>
And nothing much else. (Above output is written from memory and is not
cut-copy-paste)
I know that the application is fine as I can run,
>snmpd -version
version : 5.6
...
.. etc
>
In other words, I can query it for the version and it returns the data fine,
but I can't seem to start the process without getting a "SIGSERV" error.
Does anyone have any idea how I could trace down this error? At the moment,
I'm trying different "./configure" settings, hoping for success at some
random point.
Puzzled,
