snmpd -f -Le

As a slightly less overwhelming option, you could try -Dtrace
This will still generate more output than you'd know what to do with,
but might be a smidgen less unmanageable, and still help identify
roughly where the problem is arising.
But Robert's suggestion of try to get a stack trace is definitely
the best approach for tracking down where things are going wrong.
