I agree, it's not too helpful. The discussion was from quite a while
ago and I agree it's probably not worth keeping.
So the discussion (and I don't want to drop this without getting
opinions from others) would be to drop this message:
"No log handling enabled - using stderr logging\n");
Here's the deal:
1) if they're watching stderr, this probably won't surprise them that
stuff is going to stderr.
2) if they're not watching stderr, then this message will never be seen
anyway.
Thoughts?
