This is no longer an issue...
I've found that the as long as I restart my building from an empty,
unpacked from zip directory, I can eliminate the various error
messages I've seen and commented on.
So given that procedure, I have followed a more systematic
approach to my testing:
OpenSSL SDK IPv6 winExtDll 5.6.1 5.7.1 arch
------- --- ---- --------- ----- ----- ----
x x x works works x64
x x x x note1 note1 x64
x x not tested works x86
x x x not tested note2 x86
Note 1: no responses to queries even when most DLLs are removed from
registry.
Note 2: With all DLLs enabled, it hangs on eventagent
With eventagent removed from registry, hostmib fails to load and no
rsps
With hostmib removed from registry, no responses
...
I did not test x86 with an x86build of openSLL, because the issue now seems
to simply be winExtDll/Microsoft DLLs/Windows 7.
I wish I had an older (pre Win 7) box to try to build on.
Do any of these test results suggest anything?
TIA
Fulko
