(replying to an e-mail of last year) Sorry that it took so long but I finally had some time to look further into this. A fix has been checked in on all five active branches. winExtDLL should now work on the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows and a 32-bit executable should work on 64-bit Windows 7 too (WoW64). If you have a look at the changes you will see that the behavior differences between 32-bit, native 64-bit and WoW64 are really weird.
