I created my own mib and the same snmpget command has
a "Cannot find module (MYHW-MIB.mib)" message on
windows 2000 but not on linux.
Why?
Windows environment variables:
MIBS=+MYHW-MIB.mib
MIBDIRS=C:\netsnmp\share\snmp\mibs;C:\mibs
windows:
C:\>snmpget -v 3 -u admin -l authPriv -a MD5 -A
12345678 -x DES -X 87654321 172.20.11.22
MYHW-MIB::hwOperationRequests.0
Cannot find module (MYHW-MIB.mib): At line 1 in (none)
MYHW-MIB::hwOperationRequests.0 = Counter64: 10
linux:
$ snmpget -v 3 -u admin -l authPriv -a MD5 -A 12345678
-x DES -X 87654321 172.20.11.22
MYHW-MIB::hwOperationRequests.0
MYHW-MIB::hwOperationRequests.0 = Counter64: 10
