Sorry, yes you were right. But this won't be the reason for this
behaviour. I meanwhile synced both scripts, so they are producing the
same output:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# ./read_hdd.sh hda
27
0
27
0
and:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# ./read_hdd.sh hda
33
0
0
0

Anyway, snmpwalk does not show the ".1, .2..." values.

Not really an option, because I want to stay in the upgrade/patch pathes
for the OS. Installing the net-snmp on sles9 was needed for the extend
feature, but it works fine on the CentOS box.

Anyone else an idea?
