Why doe the net-snmp.5.4 differ from net-snmp54? The current naming scheme is due to limitations of the openSUSE Build Service on how it can offer multiple versions of the same package. Don't worry your pretty little head. What's important for you is that "net-snmp54-5.4-10.1..." is an older package based on the former 5.4 (not 5.4.1) release and "net-snmp-5.4-snapshot-5.4.x.svn..." is based on latest 5.4.x SVN.
