Hi Wes Hardaker

Once Zabbix returns failure for a particular user(azvision), we are checking
through snmp walk as well. The results are Authentication failure.

Another observation is

We deleted the user(azvision) and re-added to snmpd.conf and restarted snmpd.
We have kept Zabbix aside and used only snmpwalk from linux machine

Snmpwalk succeeds for 10-12 mins but again fails

The behavior is seen only on this host and for this particular user.
Other users created on this host are working fine.

Kindly advise.

Thank you
Krishna Vivek

Can you see if it works using snmpwalk and not just zabbix?

Make sure the engineid being reported is actually what you expect (don't know
why it would be different, but...)

Can you also see if the engineid boots and time values look good both incoming
and outgoing? IE, are they syncing ok like they should?

Very odd.
