Yeah. but there are other options (although this is getting quite off topic):
1. Get a second hand A4000
2. Wait for a boxer
3. wait for the g4 boards that come with pci slots (although you'd need a
tower or a4000 again and this would probably be even more pricey)
personally i am in a similar situation to yourself although i don't have the
amiga to use because i am in uni so my family use it for email and suchlike. I
might get a secondhand a4000, that would be quite cheap... i've heard of them
going for as little as #150.
