NOT TRUE!  Check Aminet.  I have TrueType fonts installed and they work very
fast and compatable with majority of Amiga apps.  I think you need something
like T1 manager.

Just get the extension from Aminet.  it's not a hack but an add-on to the font
kernalengine, just like the _bullet_outline fonts are.
